Sentient In Action: Implementing a Feedback Culture

The Challenge

A marketing agency encountered challenges in identifying and prioritising areas for improvement within their operations. During the discovery phase, it became evident that feedback was a significant pain point, emphasising the necessity to enrich the feedback culture within the organisation.

The Approach

The approach focused on enhancing the team’s ability to provide constructive feedback, resolve conflicts, and improve communication channels. Live workshops were conducted monthly and featured interactive role-playing exercises and hands-on activities to reinforce learning. Additionally, personal coaching sessions provided individualised support and guidance.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in regular reflections, pulse surveys, and microlearning sessions to reinforce key concepts and track progress. Weekly assignments and activities complemented the workshop sessions, encouraging continuous learning and application of new skills in real-world scenarios.

By systematically addressing feedback-related challenges and promoting a culture of open communication, the agency aimed to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment conducive to professional growth and organisational success. Through intensive work on the development of an effective feedback culture, misunderstandings, conflicts, and communication issues were resolved, and employees learned how to efficiently implement resolution strategies to productively face challenges without harbouring resentment towards each other.

The Solution

To address these challenges, we implemented a multifaceted approach, combining face-to-face workshops, interactive activities, and personalised coaching aimed at improving feedback mechanisms and fostering a culture of open communication.
